There’s no doubt that listening to music makes exercising more fun. But the perfect playlist can also boost your performance, reduce your perception of fatigue and improve your mood. Choose upbeat, fast-tempo songs to take your workout to the next level.
No gym equipment? No worries
You don’t need fancy gym equipment to work up a sweat — you’ve got everything you need at home. A flour bag can double as an extra weight for your squats. Water bottles or tinned foods can be used as dumbbells. Grab a chair for dips and push ups. And if you’re really looking for a challenge, load an old backpack with books and hit the stairs for a cardio workout. You’ll want to tighten the straps to keep the weight comfortable on your back.
Reward yourself after a workout
